I have had many identities in my life – Filipino, feminist, young whipper snapper, daughter, sister, wife, mother, professional, community planner, facilitator and the owner of a really cool online shopping mall. I am happily still most of that, except perhaps young (all in the mind of course), and being a feminist (unnecessary in my current life view).
I am learning that the rough edges of my identity are made smooth by God’s cadence. Just as the constancy of the ocean’s waves gently shapes reefs and rocks, so has God been patiently shaping my identity. I know now that I am a beloved daughter of the most high King. The rest is mostly just dressing, and. at times, pieces of the armor God gives me so that He can work through me.
The journey is sure fun! Join me!

Good stuff! I am the smooth worn pebble dropped into the placid pool creating concentric ripple circles that press ever outward…
How God chooses to wear the sharp edges of our stone is the spice of life, and the joy of our road with Him. Thank you for coming to my blog today and sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate it, and you.
I enjoyed your blog! I just started this a couple of weeks ago. I’ve tag surfed, and your site spoke to me. I think it’s because i, like you, am a foodie. I recently posted The Nationality of Food. Much of life comes down to food.
